How to Set up 3rd Term Promotion on Your School Portal

This is where you would be able to do 3rd term promotion setup for your school

The System automatically promote students for 3rd Term, You have to ensure you do the 3rd Term promotion setup for each session

Promotion setup allows you to decide:

• If you are using cumulative pass mark for all the terms or

• You are using pass mark in some selected subjects to promote students.

To Set Promotion, By the Side Menu,

Click Result, Setup, then Promotion Settings

Select the Session and Programme

If you are using Cumulative Passmark: Select Yes, then

Set the % Passmark to promote student and Click Submit.

This would automatically promote students who meets the criteria pass mark you have set.

If you are not using cumulative pass mark i.e. you want to promote students base on their performance in subjects:

Select No

Click the Menu Box by the Compulsory, then Click Edit (to Set Compulsory Subjects students must pass)

• Enter Total number of Compulsory subjects to be passed

• Input the Pass

• Mark Enter the Subjects in the search box, the select to choose once you have added all the compulsory subjects

• Click Save

If you also want to include Elective Subject, you can do that by Clicking on the Elective Menu Box to set the Elective Subjects.
